I’m kinda over counting calories.
I’ve learnt that none of us need to count calories. We do need to understand how calories fuel our bodies though. And understanding that, and getting the hang of how much food your body needs, is learnt by counting calories.
Eventually you should just be able to get on with life without worrying about calories, and just eat as much vegetables and lean/healthy protein as you can on a daily basis until you’re stuffed.
But alas, I really find that counting calories helps me to track my food, stay on track, and loose weight.
So as of tomorrow I’ll loosely track my calories and weigh out my food using my Calorie King account.
I just feel like I’m letting myself get away with too many little sneaky snacks here and there. I’m sabotaging myself and summer isn’t that long away dammit. I need to pull my head in if I want to look super this summer.
Maybe I need to pick out a goal bikini for summer! I usually buy myself a goal outfit, but never a bikini. Hmmm….might go do some internet window shopping and pick out something to fit into for summer.
